As of 2 weeks ago, Saturday mornings are my husband's "House All to Himself" time. I take everyone out of the house every Saturday morning around 7:45am until at least 10:15am. I set his coffee to brew about 9:30am before we leave. Hubby loves to sleep in and wake up to peace, quiet and freshly brewed coffee! What a difference it makes for our entire weekend just by giving him some time Sat AM.

I always find the time for my husband to have time to himself. He has a very stressful job as an air traffic controller, so personal time for him is one of my priorities. We set an amount of time daily for him to relax, and it pays off for the both of us!

My husband is not really good at taking personal time but when the opportunity presented itself for him to go to a computer conference with his friends (just for fun, not work related) I actually encouraged him to go. He met up with some friends from college, took the day off work and left at 8:30am and didn't get home until 11:00pm. He had a ball and I had to juggle both kids at a doctor's appointment (getting shots nonetheless) without him. He was giddy when he got home and had fun eating out all day, catching up with friends and doing something that would have bored me to tears. He loved it and was totally reenergized.
