It's great to know people appreciate things you've written, and it strokes your ego when they're enthusiastic. But to go from letters (sent just to my friends) to a book that strangers would buy can't be an easy effort, right? That's why I would love to hear some 'real word' info on what it takes to get published. What do you do when people tell you, “You should write a book”?
