My husband had a rough week and wanted something humorous so he picked The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. HE enjoyed it but I feel asleep within 15 minutes. I just didn't get it. Soooooooo, it didn't promote any kind of shared experience since I was asleep but he may have felt valued since we,,,,he watched what he wanted. Got a virus of the flu type and I get to play catch up now. Thanks for making this available to me on your blog. It's been fun and very rewarding. It had definitely made a significant difference in my marriage. Not so much from his perspective, though I do think he appreciates me a bit more than a few weeks ago, more so from my perspective. Going out of my way to be mindful about how I treat my spouse has caused me to be more sensitive to his needs and more compassionate toward his challenges. It seems so simple, and it is, but it took having your structure to really notice the change in me. Thank you so much. The movie was good! What a surprise! I always feel like I need therapy after those movies but I think this time I will be okay. I have also decided to clean out our bedroom and add some candles this up coming weekend because my husband will be out of town for almost 5 full days. I think he will be surprised.
