I so want a kindl/e-reader! I love the fact if your to tired to read it can read to you. Plus it will help save space on the bookshelves. It's on my wish list but my IT Geek husband ( I call that in the most loving way, cause he loves technology) is holding out on getting me one. Reason why they are going to come out w/ improved version and lower the price later in the year.

I was one of the GO PAPER responses on FB...LOL. However, after reading your breakdown here's mine....

Right now 100% paper from Christian book stores, Amazon and other retailers, and gifts.

Now,....if the day EVER comes that I get my IPOD that I've been wanting for YEARS...LOL...I would consider "listening" to a book on the IPOD in a situation where I was otherwise unable to read such as exercising, walking the dog, etc. That would be fun.

Otherwise, it's paper all the way =)

Money has been tight for quite awhile, so I get most of my books from the library, then the thrift store, then Amazon, with the occasional book store purchase.

I would love a Kindle and/or an iPhone. Someday!

I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE an e-reader. mostly because I do most of my reading in the car. No, not while driving. That's illegal. But waiting as I drive hither & yon delivering & retrieving 4 students daily. Oh, I bring books in the car, but they take such a beating. And unless I wrap said books in plastic wrap ( are you laughing because you know it's true?) they take a horrible beating.

Given our current situation, my books have been limited to 75% borrowed from the library (including audio books), 10% borrowed from friends with lovely personal libraries (where I promise to take great care of them - even wrapping them in plastic wrap) 5% Recycle Book Store or purchased from the Friends of the Library sale, 5% Amazon and 5% gifts.

Congratulations on your Kindle release! How exciting. I just got my first Kindle in November before a long flight to Israel and I absolutely LOVE it. I love books and read any chance I get. I still like paper books too and buy many of them, but I am now a huge Kindle fan.
