What do you do when someone criticizes you?
In today’s world of social media, we are open to just about any kind of attack and it can be hard to take no matter what the situation.
What motivates others to criticize?
- Are they just being crazy?
- Are they confrontational?
- Are they confused?
Listen as we discuss the three types of criticism and how to respond when it comes your way.
When you quoted Romans 12:18 it reminded me of a sweet friend who always reminds me that the verse includes yourself. You must be at peace with yourself also, so there is nothing wrong with setting boundaries to protect yourself. Great podcast.
Such truth!
Just listened to your podcast on criticism and I was blown away. People are people. I’m sorry you had to go through that. However, it did make me realize I’ve never commented to let you know how I have enjoyed your “hot mama” series. I have the first two ebooks and think they’re great. As a christian wife and mama I was thrilled to find a tasteful, God centered, God honoring, encouraging boost to my marriage. It’s really difficult to find appropriate Christian literature on sex in marriage and igniting spark and romance. Thank you for stepping out and writing these.
Kathi and Erin~ Thanks for your insightful podcast and the grace you extended to those who have criticized you. I’m really sorry that happened to you both, and want you to know that I really appreciate you and the wonderful messages that you both share with us. Something funny that I just realized is that my two closest friends are named Kathy and Erin! How random is that? Anyway, thanks for being two more friends who are kind and trustworthy and who share their wisdom with the world. You are loved! Blessings to you both!
Julie- thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement. Thank you for taking the time to love on us!
