My husband and I love to hike but our kids don’t. Before kids we went hiking a lot. We have missed it.
One of the projects was to do something he really likes to do. I set up a date to hike a trail we had not been to in years. We brought a backpack with wine, bread and cheese. We hiked a bit and then sat and watched the sunset. It was beautiful, relaxing, glorious. It was a great date. When we arrived home my husband had to look up the trail on the internet and see where we were, how far we walked, etc. I could really care less about that part but I was very interested for him because I know that makes him happy.
