As you can tell from my post a couple days ago, I read a lot of books (and not just on the kindle!) and I need to clear room on my shelf for the books that I will read this year! I would love to clear room on my shelves by giving some to my favorite readers.
I’ve listed the books below. It will be simple to win, all that you need to do is leave a comment with your e-mail, the book you would like and a description in 10 words or less of why you would like it. How simple is that?
(BTW – if I get multiple entries for a book I will have an unbiased committee – my kids – pick the winner…)
The Fortune Cookie Chronicles
My Name is Bill
Miss Match
Coffeehouse Angel
If You’ve Raised Kids, You Can Manage Anything
The Relationship Cure
The Power of a Praying Parent
New Testament Lesson Maker
Wake ‘em Up Business Presentations
Ohhhh! heh – 10 words or less: FAIL
Thanks for clearing off your shelves for us. I am most interested in “If You’ve Raised Kids You Can Manage Anything”. I’d like to get involved in community service leadership.

I would like Coffehouse Angel first because it looks like a feelgood kind of book, The Power of a Praying Parent second because soem fo the issues I am dealing with my kids with will only be resolved with God moving.
Choice #1 – New Testament Lesson Maker. I would love to make my own lessons and share them.
Choice #2 – Wake ‘em Up Business Presentations. I need to wake up my homeschool group!
The Relationship Cure is a good that will such a blessing to me. I am in an unequally yoked marriage, and my desire is to win my hubby by my silent witness. I tried for years to “help” the Holy Spirit (who was I kidding??? 🙂 The all powerful God of the universe certainly does not need my help!) I have purposed to receive my husband as God’s gift to me and desire to be the woman, wife and mother He called me to be. The relationship Cure will give me valuable insight that will be much appreciated! Thanks for being so generous Kathy.
#1- The Power of a Praying Parent
#2- If You’ve Raised Kids You Can Manage Anything
I want to be a better mom/wife/leader.
New Testament Lesson Maker…I will be taking on the role of my MOPS group’s Coordinator this year. I am nervous, but excited and I think this would be a great tool. Thanks!

BOOK= If You’ve Raised Kids, You Can Manage Anything
WHY?= B/C haven’t yet, but as teacher = need all help possible!
((I hope “equal signs” don’t count as words! It was hard to limit my reason to 10 words or less!))
The Relationship Cure Sounds like great reading. I’ve really been working on communicating better with my loved ones in order to improve relationships and this book sounds like it could help. I won’t even mention that it’s my birthday today:)
Kathi – I would love the book about Bill. My older sister is sober about 4 years now and she is working so hard to be a productive community member while trying to gain herself back. What a gift it would be to give her that book. I had no idea there was a book about Bill out there. Well, I never looked. If you do decide to give it to me for her, would you please write a note inside the cover to her. Her name is Barbara and she would get a kick out of getting a book from a author. thank you!
Oooh – some great choices here!
1. Miss Match
2. Coffehouse Angel
3. The Relationship Cure
Love your blog – if you like it I will too.
I desire Power of The Praying Parent, please!
Why:
“Praying”…”Parent,” need I say more?!
Thanks much for sharing.
I’d love Power of a Praying Parent. I actually have this and love it. i keep it in my car (where I am a lot). But it has become my go-to gift book for new parents. To those who are believers, and to those who I think are “open” to the Bible, prayer & God, even if not necessarily a Christian. With hubby’s work as it is, I just don’t have room $ for gifts.
oh – PS – since I love to read I’ll submit my name as an entry for Coffeehouse Angel – and I think I should win because . . . I love coffee, and I believe in angels 😉
Thanks!
Sarah

The Fortune Cookie Chronicles–It looks humerous and I would share it with students. (Besides, I worked for many hours creating banners for a presentation of yours which I was not able to attend.)
