So many of you read my books or this blog because you love story. Tell me what I should (don’t you hate that work, should?) do, and I rebel. Tell me a story, and change my life.
Someone I work with and admire, Julie, sent out this trailer and everyone I’ve shared it with is amazed. How can two minutes be so much. Because we all have a horse God has put in our lives to learn from. Perhaps your horse is a teenage son, or a boss who beats you down. Maybe it’s your husband who has had a midlife meltdown, or an aging parent who is making you crazy.
We all have a horse to learn from.
I love horses, but I have also been intimidated and scared of them. But my dad helped me to feel comfortable around them. Yes, indeed they (horses) are amazing. And regarding what you say that we all have those people in our life that are like horses, that is true too.
Gave me goosebumps. Powerful.
WOW! powerful– I want to see the whole movie 🙂 I know I will learn a lot from it!
Wow. What a compassionate, beautiful way to approach not only our horses but our people. I love how he says, “This horse tells me an awful lot about you.” Wow. How in the world is my approach to my children and my husband reflected back in the lives they live and how can I make sure to give them my best so the stories they live and the choices they make and the relationships they have speak of a mom or wife who loves the Lord so much and from that love, loves them? This is so profound. Thanks for sharing (and I’m glad I haven’t put on my mascara yet!).
