Yesterday, I put this up on my wall (both Facebook and Painted) and it was amazing how my day changed.
Print this out. Put it up.
Today, I am choosing to remember that my Father adores me, and while I don’t always feel it, I’m going to live like I believe it to the very core of my being.
Jer 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
Now tell me – did you live a little differently today by choosing to believe it?
Absolutely I did! Whenever a sneaking suspicion otherwise creeps in, usually due to me looking outwardly at my circumstances, I actively remind myself of the truth and encourage myself to believe it. I sometimes have to treat my mind like it’s a two-year-old.
I have just finished a WONDERFUL Bible Study titled, Restore My Heart by Denise Glenn. She takes the traditional Jewish betrothal & wedding customs and Scripture & shows how they paint a beautiful picture of the love our Bridegroom has for us, His Bride! It is so reassuring for women especially. If you don’t feel loved & cherished after immersing yourself in this study, then you need to check your pulse!
I’m going to print that and hang it on every single wall in my house! Well maybe not quite but close!
Thank you, Kathi!
I love to think of how He “draws” us to Himself. It’s so easy for me to think of my “finding” the Lord or to fret over those I love who don’t know Him, and then I read these words and for me, it is a reminder that He is the One doing all the work of bringing us to Him. And of all things, He draws us with “loving-kindness”!!! I am so undeserving and so thankful.
Thank you for sharing this today.
