Ruth is so right. We often think more about ourselves and worship ourselves. I was listening to this podcast on my way to Ladies Bible Study. I got there a few minutes early and was reading the next short chapter about worship. The author was talking about how we often spend time on interesting things, but not important things, and how we often make idols of people, money, things, etc. He did not have “ourselves” listed, but I added “Ourselves” to the the “common idols” list within the book. Just wanted to tell you how timely your podcast was.
